Hi everyone it's Lenae here from SugarGem. I really was inspired by the new Challenge #17 this month. It's so darn cute. I really wanted to make a fall thank you card with the colors. What do you think?
Hi Friends! Katie here with another fun card for this month's THD challenge! Here is our fun and hilarious inspiration board as a reminder:
Here is my card:
As you can see, I honed in on the green and black from the inspiration photo. Some of these DPs are quite old, but I've held onto them for a long time and it worked out perfectly. I used the SugarPea Designs stamps and colored them with my Copics. Now how fun is the use of the Lawn Fawn Wonderful Window Die?! You wouldn't think to use it in black for something spooky but it works so well. I simply covered the little heart with a Doodlebug star to set the mood right.
Do you celebrate Halloween? If so, what are you doing to get ready for it?
I hope you enjoyed this post and hope you will join us for this challenge!
Kimberly with you today with some FUN mini card and envelope decorating.
I had to ink up the Waffle Flower Snail Mail Stamp Setand paired the cuteness with the American Crafts 3x3 Mini Card and Envelope Set in ombre lime green. Stamping in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloring with copics after hand cutting the images, they sure are sweet on the mini card. Decorating an envelope adds a sweet touch when you send your mini card!
My colors are based on theChallenge #17FUN images and ghoulish colors.
I look forward to seeing you join us in the Gallery!!

Cris, your card is stunning, absolutely stunning--the background, the layers, the coloring and choice of layout! You totally rocked it!
Hello friends! Katie here and I have an exciting card to share with you today. This card is made by our Honored Guest Michele Ferguson from I Card Everyone!
As a reminder, he is the challenge photo for this week's challenge.
Here is Michele's amazing card! You should definitely visit her blog and learn all about this creation and you can do that HERE.
Michele is the sweetest of people and an amazing designer! I mean look at this, the texture, the color, oh-la-la!!!! We are lucky to have her come an join us for almost every single THD challenge! She's won a time or two as well! :) Now, admittedly, I had an error and didn't get her card up when the challenge went live. I only hope this dear and lovely lady can forgive me!
Big thanks to Michele and all our lovely visitors!
What do you love about Autumn? For me it's the golden afternoon light and the quick snap cold of night; to me, autumn is like a haiku-- arresting in its brevity, abundant and emptying, a yearning for the long days, and a leaning in toward acceptance-- autumn is paradox, all. And as a writer, it may be the most inspired season, if not necessarily my favorite.
The sentiment from the same set was stamped in copper and heat embossed on the vellum cut from Gina Marie's Cross-stitch rectangle die. This copper embossing may have just rocked my world. I never really thought much about using copper in my work; however, I am designing the table numbers and seating charts for my brother's upcoming wedding, and the featured colors are copper, navy and burgundy, so I have been working with it quite a bit, which really is perfect for autumn as it calls to mind that afternoon light I love so much.
Both the inside and the wrapper feature copper as well.
I'll leave you with a poem by one of my favorites. Wishing you an inspired season!

Oh my, his sweet face cracks me up! I combined the following Distress Oxides
I did the smooshing technique starting with lightest to darkest and doing the colors one at a time. I make sure each color has been thoroughly dried with my heat gun. This is all done on Ranger Watercolor Paper.
When everything is thoroughly dried I stamped my sentiment and the chameleon with Versafine Onyx.
Love Your Next Stamp's heavy lines...makes it easy to fussy cut! That guy has been popped on a foam dimensional for added interest.
Hi everyone it's Lenae here from SugarGem. When I saw this stamp set from Lawn Fawn I HAD to buy it for my honey. We have 2 labrador retrievers and their dad has an addiction to playing the claw machine at the grocery store and winning stuffed animals for them. Sometimes he comes back from the grocery store with 9 stuffed animals. The dogs go nuts for the toys. I made this card for him for his birthday.
